Flashes of Hope and Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times

A few months ago I had the opportunity, nay, the privilege to spend the day at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times located in the San Jacinto Mountains with Flashes of Hope.

“Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times creates a positive long-lasting impact on children with cancer and their families by providing fun-filled, medically supervised, cost-free, year-round camp programs.” – from the website

and

Flashes of Hope is a nonprofit organization that changes the way children with cancer and other life threatening illnesses see themselves through the gift of photography and raises money for pediatric cancer research” – from the website. Their goal is to photograph every child until every child is cured.

Though I would love to post the photos I took of these amazing kids, FOH has asked, understandably, that we do not. (for the privacy of the children and their families)

But I would like to invite you to visit both organizations’ websites and see what wonderful work they are doing. (and if you look real close, you may stumble on my name, along with 5 others, recognized as the contributing photographers at Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times).

Enjoy!
